    Default Titrimetric Method Validation

    Dear All,

How to validate the titrimetric (titration) methods?

How to determine the Limit of Detection and Limit if Quantification by using the Titrimetric Method of Analysis?

    Thanking You,

    kvkiran

Dear kiran majority titrimetric method are for assay where u dont have to determine LOD and LOQ But if ur determining the chloride (halides) anions or cation then u have to go for LOD and LOQ by titration of the std with know concentration in diluent.

    Dear Tabez,

Thank you for you rnformation. we use the Autotitrator to determine the halides concentration. But how actually to interpret the results among the samples?

    Thanking You

    Dear Kiran
There are certain method mentioned in ICH Q2R1 for instrumental and non instrumental method (which dont have base line or other digital data). In your case it can be calculated by Visual eveluation "The QL and DL is generally determined by the analysis of samples with known concentrations of analyte and by establishing the minimum level at which the analyte
can be reliably detected (DL) or quantified with acceptable accuracy and precision (QL)"
