Description

My client, a leading technical and professional service provider, is looking for a number of Process Engineers, with solid experience working in the Pharmaceutical Industry, to be based from offices in Dublin or Cork.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Design biopharmaceutical and API synthesis facilities including primary and secondary processing.
Process calculations and development of PFDs and P&IDs.
Prepare specifications for process equipment and interface with supplier¿s engineers to prepare technical bid analyses and recommendations to clients.
Under general supervision develops basic engineering designs and specifications on assigned contract; provides process data to environmental groups,
Reviews and approves equipment RFQ¿s, bid tabulations and vendor data; assists in process field work.

Required Experience:
10 years¿ experience, ideally gained in the pharmaceutical industry
Experience in the design, operations and process development of pharmaceutical processes.
Experienced in technical specification preparation/technical bid evaluation of key upstream and downstream process equipment: Bioreactors, Ultrafiltration, Chromatography, centrifuges, Clean Utility Generation.
Understanding of P& ID development through all design stages: conceptual, preliminary, detailed engineering, construction.
Excellent knowledge of industry trends in drug substance facility design and operaton.

Essential Skills & Capabilities:
BSc/MSc in Engineering Discipline
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, working language is English
Team player
